Aquatics at Mar Vista

The Mar Vista Aquatics Center provides the Imperial Beach community with access to an Olympic size pool that is designed for lap swimming and fitness classes.

Pool Hours 

Tuesday / Thursday / Friday from 5:30am-7am

Saturday from 6:30am-8am 

Sunday from 9am-3pm

Swim Lane Reservations 

Reservations and pre-payment are required in advance.

• Tuesday / Thursday / Friday Lane reservations for lap swim are available for 1.5-hour sessions from 5:30am-7am
• Saturday reservations for lap swim are available for 1.5 hours sessions from 6:30am-8am
• Sunday reservations for lap swim are available for 1.5-hour sessions in these time slots, 9am-10:30am, 11am-12:30pm, 1pm-2:30pm  

Swim Class and Lessons 

• Swim classes are offered each Sunday 
• Classes are offered as an 8-week series 
• Classes offered focus on ages 6 months to adult

Guidelines 

• All swim lanes will have a maximum of 2 swimmers per lane. 
• Spectators or instructors are not allowed in the swim lane during lap swim. 
• Reservations for swim lanes are for 1.5 hours
• Participants must exit pool at the end of the allotted time slot 
• Reservations and pre-payment by credit or debit card can be made here
• No cash or check payments are allowed for reservations or class registrations.

Located along Imperial Beach Blvd. between Connecticut Street and 4th Street.

• The pool entrance is located along Imperial Beach Blvd between adjacent to the Mar Vista football field
• Parking is available at parking lot in front of the Mar Vista gymnasium.
